Hi, my name is Charlotte and I am a fully qualified teacher and SENCO with over 10 years experience from Early Years through to Year 6. During my full time teaching career, I held an acting Head of School role as well as an advisor to develop teaching practices in other schools. I stepped away from my teaching role to be with my young family, watching them grow and develop and have since started my own tuition sessions. I believe in children learning through experiences and play and I bring this pedagogy to my tutoring sessions. I teach children the skills and the knowledge they need to know to tackle Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning, Maths Spatial Reasoning as well as Maths and English questions within the 11+ tests. This content is taught through games, group work and working through specific test questions. Children are taught strategies and test etiquette when approaching questions. My group sessions are aimed to familiarise children with the content and style of questions and the answer sheets they will see on the day of their test.
